Resolution of the BCD Congress, 13 June 2015
The fifth registration Congress of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party took place on 13 June 2015 in the Palace of Culture of Minsk Tractor Works in Minsk.
The Congress was attended by appr. 300 delegates and guests. The heads of diplomatic missions of the United Kingdom, Sweden and the United States honoured the Congress by their presence. BCD partners such as European People’s Party, Christian Democratic Union of Germany, Christian Democratic Party of Norway, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and others sent their greetings to the Congress.
Christian Democrats took necessary decisions for the new attempt to obtain legal registration for the party and for the national public association with the name “Belarusian Christian Democracy”. The appropriate applications will be submitted to the Belarusian Ministry of Justice with a month’s period.
The Congress adopted the Resolution concerning the BCD’s participation in the coming presidential campaign and implementation of the national campaigns. Please, find the text attached to this message.
